This weekend was the State Cup for PA West. Our teams both came in as finalists. Great Job Girls. I believe in the girls competition, Penns Forest had a great showing this year.

In addition to finalist medals for both of the girls, I have a major case of sunburn on my nose (along with a wicked case of raccoon eyes from the my sunglasses.

Today is the day for the semi finals for the PA West State Cup Tournament. Good Luck to all teams involved. We will be there most of the day…

Today is also the Inhouse Tournament Day for Norwin Soccer Club. Good Luck to all the players partcipating in this event. I have very fond memories of the many years that my girls participated in this club tradition. So far the weather looks great.

Speaking of tournaments, my new project Youth Soccer Tournaments, has received a great response to my e-mail invitation. So far I have 70 tournaments listed. Google still has not crawled the entire site. I am looking forward to practicing all the SEO tips on this. Sandbox here we come…

I finally broke down and created my own blog. You would think that after working all day on customer stuff I would want to get away from the computer and not bother contributing to yet another project. You would be correct in that thinking, but here I am anyway.

Why am I creating a blog? First of all, I should have some experience with blogging so I can intelligently answer questions from customers who want their own blog. Second is that there is a bunch of news articles and blog entries stating that blogs are the Hottest thing for SEO. Whether that is true or not time will tell.

I will not be spending large amounts of time worrying about the presentation and look of this site. Themes are about as creative as I can after working on sites all day…
